At Wawne Primary School we promote a sense of belonging and pride in being part of the school community. Our school uniform is smart and practical and our children are proud to wear it. Our school uniform expectations are set out below:
White/Navy Polo Shirt
Black tights or white socks
Plain black shoes
In the summer plain blue and white gingham school dresses can be worn with no additional colours or adornments.
Hair that touches a child’s shoulders must be tied up. Patterned shaved hairstyles and dyed hair are not appropriate for school. Novelty hairbands are also not appropriate.
No nail varnish or make-up to be worn.
Pupils may wear one pair of small stud earrings and a watch for school which should be removed for PE lessons. No other jewellery should be worn.
All children need a pair of black trainers, plain black shorts and a plain white t-shirt for PE.
Outdoor games kit includes a warm jumper and track suit bottoms.
PE kit should be brought into school on a Monday for use during the week and taken home on a Friday.
When your child joins the school they will join one of our five coloured teams, and you can purchase a t-shirt in their team colour. Replacement t-shirts can be purchased from the school office.
Please label all clothing and shoes with your child’s name.
